Foodies and Farmers Markets is one of Sydney’s favourite cultural destinations.

Top up your larder with organic produce from the state’s best farmers. Beautify your home with amazing arts and crafts from city and regional artists. Enjoy mouth-watering street food, wine and beer from local and overseas producers. And pamper yourself and your loved ones with a unique range of ethically-produced oils, lotions, clothing and beauty products.

Foodies and Farmers Markets is open Thursday, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at a location near you.

Management

Christina Chakos started her career in the 1990s as a stallholder in fresh produce, organic bread, seafood, coffee, and French patisserie.

In 1998, she turned her attention to becoming the organiser (with husband Nic) of one of Sydney’s most sought-after community organisations, the Foodies and Farmers Markets.

 With operations at Peakhurst, Bayside and Menai, the business now incorporates pop-up markets and events for local councils, local developments, and hotels/precincts across Sydney.

Is there parking?

All our market locations have adequate off-street parking but none on-site.

Are pets allowed?

We are pet friendly. Please keep all pets on short leads.

Are the markets ever called off due to weather?

The only reason we would ever cancel the markets is due to dangerous weather/ site conditions. In this case, we advise stallholders the morning of the markets if we need to cancel the event. Our customers are notified via Facebook and Instagram.

Can I bring a pram?

Yes.
